Not All Heroes Wear Capes—Some Show Up in Uniforms of Compassion

While many are celebrating public holidays, we know that care doesn’t take a day off.
In homes across Perth, someone is helping a participant start their morning. A nurse is attending to wound care. A support worker is checking in, just to make sure someone’s okay.

Today — Workers’ Day — is about more than industry and jobs. It’s about people who show up every day with compassion, resilience, and a sense of purpose.
In the NDIS world, the work is deeply personal. And it’s not just a “job.” It’s listening. It’s showing up. It’s being patient when things don’t go to plan.

At Nurse Assist 24/7, we are proud of the incredible staff, nurses, and disability support workers who bring our values to life.
They are the heart of our service.
And to every NDIS participant and family — we see the effort you put in too. Managing plans. Advocating for loved ones. Showing strength, even when it’s hard.

On this Workers’ Day, we say thank you.
Thank you for the early mornings, the long shifts, the emotional labour, and the quiet acts of care that keep people thriving.

We honour your work — not just today, but every day.
Let’s keep showing up for each other.
