Creating a Workplace of Respect, Safety & Support — Together
Culture Built on Everyday Actions
At Nurse Assist 24/7, we know that quality care starts with the people who deliver it. That’s why our internal campaign — Creating a Positive Workplace Culture — is focused on real actions, not just good intentions.
This month, we’re shining a light on the small, consistent habits that help us build a workplace where every team member feels respected, supported, and safe.
Six Core Habits of a Positive Work Culture
Here are six behaviours we’re encouraging across all teams — from frontline support staff to admin and leadership:
-
1. Communicate Openly and Honestly
Transparency helps prevent misunderstandings and builds real trust. -
2. Express Appreciation
A simple “thank you” or genuine recognition can change someone’s day. -
3. Offer Help and Support
Step in when a colleague needs a hand. Teamwork matters. -
4. Prioritise Inclusion and Belonging
Everyone should feel seen, heard, and respected — regardless of background or role. -
5. Lead with Empathy and Accountability
Take ownership, give grace, and work through challenges with understanding. -
6. Respect Boundaries and Differences
From communication styles to personal space, respect is fundamental to safety.
Why It Matters
Positive culture isn’t something we write on a poster — it’s something we live through our choices, tone, and teamwork. When we work in a space that’s psychologically safe, inclusive, and kind, we don’t just feel better — we care better. This isn’t just about HR. It’s about being human with each other.
We’re Building It Together
This campaign only works when everyone takes part. We encourage you to:
- Practice the six habits daily
- Encourage open conversations in your teams
- Share feedback and help us keep growing
