Last week, Nurse Assist 24/7 had the chance to exhibit and sponsor the Perth Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) Expo. Connecting with participants, families, and professionals in the NDIS sector was rewarding.
We spoke directly with participants about their SIL and SDA needs, answered questions, and provided tailored guidance. We also had heartfelt conversations with parents of children with disabilities. We shared insights into support options and discussed how these services could positively impact.
The event showed us the importance of community, collaboration, and shared knowledge in supporting people with disabilities to live fulfilling, independent lives. The sense of community was strong, and it was inspiring to see everyone come together with a shared purpose.
After the expo, we joined other exhibitors for a networking session. We exchanged stories of challenges and successes in the NDIS space. These conversations were a reminder of the importance of working together and celebrating progress in our shared mission.
